Yaeyama Chlorella Cracked-cell system

Chlorella has a tough fibrous cell-wall which needs to be broken down during processing to ensure bioavailability of its precious nutritional contents. Not all chlorella products are effectively processed in this way, that can mean digestibility is poor at around 35-40%. Yaeyama Chlorella has very high digestability as a result of our specialised cracked-cell processing system.

Yaeyama Chlorella is dried using a high-impact spray drying system - a technique to dry temperature sensitive foods, supplements and pharmaceuticals without impairing their delicate composition. The chlorella has its cell-wall ruptured by this process which makes it 85% digestable (certified), and nutritionally available to the body. The cracking of the cells in this way, rather than their pulverisation, means that the nutritious contents are not spilled. It is only once the chlorella enters the stomach that the nutrients are released, and get to work nourishing the body.
